PIF Gold Medals
The Gold Medal is awarded to the best products exhibited at Poznan International Fair.
The PIF Gold Medal has had a long tradition and reputation in the modern history of the Poznań International Fair. It has been awarded since 1979 and has been a distinction highly respected by both Polish and foreign exhibitors. It is an appreciated form of product promotion and an excellent marketing instrument. Companies and corporations are eager to display the graphic representations of the Gold Medal on their products and in their promotional materials.
The Gold Medal is a distinction highly valued by professionals who often make purchasing decision motivated by the decision of the Competition Jury. Manufacturers, whose products have been awarded the PIF Gold Medals, claim that their sales have grown by 10-30%. Representatives of the press, radio, television and other media give extensive coverage to the products awarded with the medal. They carry feature articles about them in branch publications and promote about them extensively on the radio and television.
Participation in the Competition requires submission of an entry form that complies with the competition rules and regulations, enclosed with this letter. If more than one product is entered into the competition, separate entry forms for each product must be filled in.
We have recently amended the competition rules and regulations and the principles of work followed by the Competition Jury. The Competition Jury makes its first assessment on the basis of the application and the required supporting documentation, and on this basis qualifies products for further assessment at the second stage according to the criteria set in the rules and regulations. This assessment is made before the commencement of the trade event. I wish to emphasize that this is a very important step in product assessment. Careful preparation of the documentation plays a very important role; the Competition Jury is able to thoroughly examine the product entered into the competition and make their decision to qualify it for the assessment at the second stage. At the second stage products nominated for the award are evaluated at the stand, following which the Competition Jury makes its final decision and determines the list of products, which it awarded with the PIF Gold Medal. The list of PIF Gold Medal winners and the list of the winner products is then extensively publicized. Acanthus Aureus Competition
Dear Exhibitors,
We would like to invite you to participate in the Acanthus Aureus Competition organised by the Poznań International Fair since 2003. In this competition the Acanthus Aureus statuettes are presented to the best designed stands adjusted to the implementation of corporate marketing strategies. According to the new rules, awards are presented by exhibitors who enter a stand to the competition.
The aim of the competition is to grant awards to the best architectural and graphic solutions that are conducive to direct communication with customers and underline a positive corporate image.
According to the rules, the Competition Jury uses the following criteria when evaluating stands:
- objectives of the company's participation in the fair in the context of the implementation of the company's marketing strategy,
- stand script,
- spatial organisation, layout of exhibits and display design.
The quality of stand construction is also a crucial criterion.
All exhibitors interested in the participation in the competition should complete the entry form and attach materials specified in the Rules of the Competition. Participation in the competition is free of charge.

Exhibitors whose stands will be selected as winners by the competition jury will be notified and invited to the official presentation of medals and diplomas during the fair.
