Farma - a trade fair for true breeders ended!

INNOVATIVE FORM

Professional and specialist - these adjectives sum up shortly this year's Farma International Fair of Animal Breeding held in a new form for the first time ever. Both the programme of trade fair events and the expositions were fully dedicated to breeders and farmers. Hence three special areas - poultry house, piggery and barn, presentations of feed distributors, a panel of experts on animal feeding and a full session of seminars and conferences devoted to the current trends and problems in the sector.

FARMA 2009

Over one hundred companies from Poland and such countries as Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and UK came to Poznań. Breeders and farmers were interested in this year's new market offers, such as a four-way milking cluster (shown for the first time ever), a computer-controlled feeding on-demand systems for pigs and advanced automatic group nests for poultry. In total, Farma was visited by over 10,000 professional attendees.
The scope of the International Fair of Animal Breeding in 2009 has been divided into four most important segments for modern animal breeding and management:

• AGRO-BUILDING
• FEEDING
• GENETICS
• VETERINARY SCIENCE

The change in the trade fair form means not only that expositions are highly specialised, but also that the event has been moved from October to February and will be held every two years. This is why the upcoming edition of the Farma International Fair of Animal Breeding will be held on 10-13 February 2011. We will be happy to host you again.
